Gary Stearman: Back to the Vatican for a moment.  they have their own astronomer.  They have their own observatory, and they’ve been peering into the heavens, they’ve been listening to all the reports about UFOs, and they have concluded — their astronomer Gabriel Funes said, “We believe that at a certain point in the near future these alien entities are going to reveal themselves to mankind.  We should prepare ourselves for this because,” Gary paraphrased, they will come as saviors, if you will, and he specifically said they may be vastly superior to us — even morally — because they may not have ever experienced original sin, such as we did.  Therefore we should look to them as far above human potential.

In this segment, Gary Stearman and his guests, Tom Horn and L.A. Marzulli, cover some more fascinating aspects of the UFO phenomena, relating these aspects to Scripture.  Here are  a couple more quotes to whet your appetite:

Tom Horn: Father Malachi Martin [Catholic] was asked . . .why is the Vatican so heavily invested in the study of deep space — talking about that VAT observatory?  He answered, “because they know what is approaching us and that it could be of the utmost importance. . .

L.A. Marzulli: Several UFOs were recently sited over the Vatican that were filmed and recorded and posted . . . I think what’s happening — from my perspective — we’re being set up for the coming great deception . . . How does one get 1.8 billion Muslims , 2.3 billion “Christians” to somehow change their paradigm, somehow change their worldview? . . . The Vatican, I believe, is setting the stage for the coming great deception . . . they know and they’re trying to prepare the masses in some way . . .

Heidi thinking out loud (so to speak):

Jesus said that if it were possible the very elect would be deceived by great signs and wonders in the tribulation (Matt 24:24).  The verse makes it sound like it’s not possible.  Howcome?  Is it because we’re gone?

If, as some surmise, the man in the office of pope during the Tribulation ends up being the false prophet, wouldn’t that fit hand-in-glove with the quote Gary Stearman provided from Gabriel Funes that possibly the “aliens” may be on a “higher moral plane and without original sin?”  What a standpoint from which to promote the Antichrist, especially if, as some speculate, he too is considered to be part “alien.”  (Dan. 2:43)

It is true of any prophecy that we are waiting to see fulfilled that we can only know all the specifics of how God will bring it about after the fact.  But some of the theories these gentlemen present are, at the very least, thought-provoking.
