CELEBRATE!
When I first set up this Web site I plopped some things on this page. They were fun (they still are). Some are funny. Many are inspirational, like my most recent addition, “Let the Celebration Begin,” which I just heard for the first time today (July 4, 2010), and absolutely LOVE! What a song to discover on the day we celebrate America. But we, as Christians, have something SO MUCH HIGHER AND GRANDER AND DIVINE TO CELEBRATE! Amen?!
Here’s the deal: There is a lot of information on this Web site that is heavy. The world is rolling pell-mell toward the 70th week of Daniel, and already we can see it isn’t pretty. It gets worse. Much worse. It’s scary. But we who know Jesus Christ have a hope — a hope of eternity with our blessed Saviour! In the midst of the descending darkness, we can retain the joy that our dear Lord provides by the indwelling of His Holy Spirit! This is SO exciting!
I hope that many visitors to this Web site visit and linger on this page. Laugh a little. Rest. And worship. We worship a mighty, living, victorious King. We’ve read the end of the book — AND JESUS WINS!!!! Yes!!!!!! Whooooohooooo!!! Please, let me know if you’ve visited this page and been inspired. Now, come with me and CELEBRATE!! — Heidi
Let the Celebration Begin!
When I Get Carried Away!
I am SO looking forward to Glory! This is such an uplifting song about the moment we see Jesus face-to-face. It’s our forward look toward eternity that helps us keep perspective in the middle of very dark days. Closed eyes or open and clapping, worship Jesus as you think about this moment for yourself!
Hallelujah, Praise the Lamb!
He’s Watchin’ Me
I can’t tell you how much this song means to me. Given a rough day, week, month and the memory or hearing of this song, I choke up. Think about what a great, awesome, powerful God we serve (and are related to by BLOOD) and for all the wondrous things He keeps tabs on, what concerns me and you is of the utmost concern to Him and He’s always near to handle any and every situation. “One eye’s on that sparrow and the other one’s on me — He’s watchin’ me!”

God is in Control – Twila Paris
Remember, in these tempestuous times, that no matter what is going on around us in our lives personally or in our world, God is still on His throne and He has events well in hand. “Do not fret because of evildoers, nor be envious of the workers of iniquity. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb. Trust in the LORD, and do good; dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness.” Psalm 37:1-3

Pray About EVERYTHING!
So how much do you worry over nuclear war or panic in the streets or whether your bank will close and you’ll be left penniless? GOD is in control, and worry doesn’t SOLVE anything. But it can make you sick, and Jesus said not to do it (Matthew 6:25-33).
Home
I love this song! I’m waiting to GO HOME! (Any day would be fine, Lord!)
If I Die Before You Wake
I felt this video and song were well worth sharing. It so poignantly expresses the gravity of having our loved ones out on the battlefield in order to protect us and the way of life we enjoy back home. Especially during these days, it’s important to be reminded of this. It’s a 4-minute video that will make you think if you listen to the words. May God find a way to bless America and bring her back from the brink she is teetering on. –Heidi

I’m Gonna Sing
Now THIS song I love because of the second verse . . . “Don’t tell me the world is a hopeless old place and I might as well just give in to the doom and gloom — life’s a waitin’ room for the blow that will do us all in. I can’t sympathize when before my eyes is a HOPE shining BRIGHT AS DAY . . . “ AMEN!!!!!!
